They are similar to HD Homerun and also supported by Plex. Looking for a HD Homerun alternative, I came across Vbox, from Vbox Communications, and I bought one of them.

I have no idea what happened to the Silicone Dust company, but they don't return my emails when I ask about where or when can I buy one.

The next thing to look into was a HD Homerun with Plex, which could also run off the Raspberry Pi. I run into the Flash Player issue, so I installed Ruffle, but still no stream, despite the stream being on VLC Player on the local network. I also bought a Hauppage Broadway and can't get it working. I am not sure if it's still being supported. I gave it a quick try but couldn't get it working. I bought a secondhand Sony Anywhere TV for cheap from the US. I did have better chances of logging in to my Foxtel Go app when using it as a Kodi add on, but it would also reject the log in sometimes. I mean, Wireguard is a reliable VPN, but a Foxtel Go log in was not. That said, it did connect on one try, for a reason unknown to me, but it's not reliable. I have no idea how when it's a VPN to my home address. I thought this was my solution but Foxtel Go still detects a VPN. Wireguard is a new and fast VPN protocol. Still on the VPN method, next was I bought a Raspberry Pi and installed Wiregurard VPN which gave me speeds of around 12 Mbs down and 9 Mbs up, which is good enough to stream. I am on fibre to the node, not fibre to the premises, so the most I can get is 50 Mbs down nd 20 Mbs up, which is what I am on. The internet in Australia is an embarrassment. I then made a VPN back to my home router which works, but the speed is too slow. My usual VPN company has all but given up on trying to get an IP Address that Foxtel hasn't blacklisted. That is my own IP Address with an Australian server, but Foxtel Go somehow detects a VPN is being used. I then decide the way to go would be to get the Foxtel Go app running on a dedicated IP Address VPN with a company, so I trialed one. I have looked at "Wake on Lan" and some BIOS settings that make the computer return to its previous state after power loss, a power loss that I would create with a WiFi power switch, but this is also not very good for your computer. Especially since I only watch some sports. I did get it working with a cheap Chinese capture card, so it is an option for me, but as someone who is overseas a lot, I am not too keen on leaving a computer on 24/7 due to electricity usage and fire hazard. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an Elgato capture card, only to discover his set up was not for me. I watched those two Youtube clips months ago, and had a go at the set up the young English guy made. When I heard slingbox was pulling the plug, I was very disappointed, and so I started the journey on finding a replacement. I have one in two different countries, and one as a backup, ready to plug and play, in my home country, Australia. My next TODO is to isolate my installation to my local network without Internet connection to see if it still runs even if it can't talk to the home planet. So would anyone have any insight or advice on how we could proceed with getting SlingBox to continue to broadcast to local net, and after that figure out the necessary server components to be able to access globally? The index.php file is still active to open in browser to cut & paste contents to Notepad but I'm not well enough versed in php to tell what exactly it does, except route users to alternate URLs. In the SBCore.ini file (C:\ProgramData\Sling Media\SlingPlayer\2.0) there are numerous references under to one index.php file (13 out of 15 links) that redirects them based on an ?urltype= argument as in : url.store= url.community=
